Battery storage allows you to store the energy that is not being used for a time when you need it. Couldn’t I just sell my excess energy for extra income? Yes, however, the rate that you sell the energy back to the grid for is often rather low. For example;
You can sell your excess energy back to the grid at a rate of 7p a unit. However, when you return from a long hard day and sit in front of the TV you are consuming electricity at a rate of 34p a unit. With battery storage, you now can use that energy generated earlier in the day and keep it for yourself.

Our complete Solar PV and Battery package is £9,900 + VAT plus £7.99/month service charge.

Yes, you are able to purchase the battery separately. Prices starting from £7,700 ex-VAT installed and £300 G99 application.
The HMRC VAT charge for battery and solar/PV is 5%. This is different to the battery only option.
Typically, 6 weeks from receipt of deposit, depending on stock.
The battery cannot go outside but can be located in a garage etc as long as the building is weather tight.
A solar panel and battery system can be installed in 1 day, but depending on trade availability it may be split over 2 days. We will do our best to cause as little disruption to your home as possible.
Yes, the battery and TESC ONE service require a functioning broadband connection to operate.
Yes, please speak to our Team and they can advise of how your future system can be expanded.
To Install a battery to your existing solar/PV The Electric Storage Company is required to submit a G99 application to NIE Networks. Once the G99 application has been authorised the battery can then be installed in your home.
From the time of submission it usually takes 1 month for NIE Networks to process your G99 application.
We offer two different battery options.
Depending on what product you purchase your warranty will vary.
Solar PV – Canadian Solar offer a manufacturer product warranty of 15 years and 25 year linear power output warranty.
Unite energy offer a 2 year installation warranty.
Solax Battery – 10 years
Sonnen Batterie 10 – The sonnenBatterie comes with a market-leading warranty of 10 years or 10,000 charge cycles, and a battery service life of 20 years. The performance guarantee states that the battery will be not less than 70% of its installed capacity after 10,000 cycles.
